R. v. J. R. – Successfully secured release for a client pending his appeal for convictions on sexual interference charges.
R. v. J.P. [2023] O.J. No. 5926 – Stay of proceedings on serious sexual assault charges, resulting from unreasonable delay after remittance for trial by the Court of Appeal for Ontario.
R. v. Wilson, 2025 ONSC 2653 – Acquitted of all charges after a week-long trial alleging historical sexual offences.
R. v. Kunz & Rahimi, [2024] O.J. No. 2686 – Stay of proceedings on drug and firearm offences resulting from unreasonable delay caused by a Crown failure to disclose relevant material in a timely unmanner.
R. v. Brown, [2023] O.J. No. 6078 – Secured release following a review of a detention order for a client accused of multiple firearms offences. Client had a record for similar offences for which a penitentiary sentenced was imposed
R. v. Tamodra, [2023] O.J. No. 6020 – Acquitted of firearms charges following a successful application for the exclusion of evidence resulting from breaches of the accused’s rights to counsel and against unreasonable search and seizure.
R. v. Kourdal, [2022] O.J. No. 6077 – Stay of proceedings for unreasonable delay resulting from the Crown’s failure to seek a remote trial during the COVID-19 pandemic, for a French-speaking accused requiring an interpreter.
R. v. Tran, 2021 ONCA 19 – Release pending appeal of numerous firearm and drug offences.
R. v. Gillespie, [2021] O.J. No. 7355 – Acquittals following a successful application for the exclusion of various drugs, as a result of serious breaches of the accused’s right to counsel.
