About Julia Kushnir

Julia Kushnir is the founder and lead counsel of Julia Kushnir Law, a boutique trial and appellate law firm specializing in representing clients facing criminal and regulatory offences across Ontario and Canada. Julia’s practice focuses on safeguarding the constitutional rights of her clients, ensuring that government agencies stay within the limits of their authority, and enforcing the standards and rules required of provincial and federal law enforcement.

Julia’s practice has been shaped by leading authorities on criminal law. While achieving her Juris Doctor from the University of Windsor, she completed a judicial internship under Justice Dean. Prior to establishing her own firm, Julia worked at a prestigious criminal defence firm in Toronto, learning from esteemed criminal counsel and honing her advocacy skills before the Ontario and Superior Courts, as well as the Court of Appeal for Ontario.
